Nine Months

Grant is growing so much every day and is as delightful as ever. He is enjoying laughing, new words "Hi Geh-Geh" (his name for Charlotte), "boon" (balloon), "bah" (when pointing to a ball), cat (the "t" is sooo faint but he still says it when looking at any cat), and "cup" in reference to his FAVORITE thing ever - drinking water from a straw. He hasn't done a full on crawl yet, but he is rocking on all fours and starting to pull up and he loves to stand and walk with hands held. He also is on a baby food strike (except baby yogurt) and is loving feeding himself all kinds of table foods - Ritz crackers, pizza, french fries or any potato and meat ranking at the top of his list. We're so proud of our smart and adorable little man!

At his 9 month check-up he measured in at a light 17.1 lbs (10th percentile) and 28" long. His head was in the 90th percentile, so we've deduced that he has a very large brain. Dr. R ensures us everything will even out down the road, but for now we couldn't be more in love with our little bobble head!

For fun I thought I would post a pic of Charlotte at this same age...

Charlotte's 9 month stats: 18.11 lbs (50th percentile), 29 inches long (90th percentile)

So fun! I think they resemble one another maybe a little, no? 10 month pictures will be taken this week, stay tuned!
