Potty Time!

At our house lately you can find something new - Charlotte on the potty! She is doing GREAT and while I wouldn't say we are full time "training" she certainly gets the concept. Almost 2 weeks now of no more, er, solids in her diaper - how cool is that? She asks to go pee pee on the potty, too, and we are seeing much success! I can hardly believe this big girl!

Girlfriends

I love when Charlotte and I get to have a lunch date with Kari & Addison. Our girls always have the best time while we enjoy good chats and laugh about how much we have in common. When I say that Addison is the happiest child we know I am not even kidding slightly. That girl just radiates joy! We love you, Addie!

Happy Valentine's Day! I love this Hallmark holiday (regardless of its stigma) and I adored spending it with my two sweethearts! Instead of hitting the beach we decided to enjoy the four day weekend at home. We relaxed all day on the 14th and then Chris and I had a wonderful date at Bonefish this evening. The next two days will be filled with more family time with Chris home from work. An all around love fest here at the M home. Hope your weekend was super sweet, too.

Here we are before our Valentine date. After dinner we went to our wedding spot - Ceresville Mansion - in hopes no wedding would be under way and we lucked out! So we grabbed some silly shots at the pergola right where we wed a little over 5 years ago.

Happy Birthday, Christopher! Charlotte and I popped in for a visit at school yesterday (bearing cupcakes for all) and then we met Daddy after his home-teaching work for dinner at one of his faves - Texas Roadhouse. We plan to continue celebrating this weekend at the beach. We love you, Chris. Thanks for working so hard and for being so involved in our lives - I often don't know how you do it all. You really are the best!

23 Months

I am trying to remain calm about the fact that our baby will be TWO in one month (and it isn't working out well for me). My emotions seem to overflow lately as I prepare for her 2nd birthday. Two years came so quickly! Here she is right before the Father Daughter Ball (more on that soon). And then another one of the two of us. I sure love having a little girl!

Super Birthday

We celebrated Chris' upcoming birthday at the Merson Superbowl party. Of course we hated to see the Steelers win, but we LOVED celebrating Chris and having the family together. The kiddos enjoyed playing and we all got to relax and eat yummy food. Happy almost birthday, Chris!
