All is Bright

We finally got the tree set up tonight. It had been sitting in the garage just drinking water since Sunday. We got as far as the lights...ornaments and the rest of the decorating will have to wait until this weekend.

Annual Tree Cutting

We enjoyed our annual trip to Sewell's Tree Farm this past weekend. It was a lot sweeter this year with Charlotte along for the ride. She loved helping Daddy cut down the perfect Fraser Fir with her great grandfather's saw.

Thankful For...

My loving husband, my beautiful daughter, a wonderful family so close, a warm home, and the gift and pleasure of staying home with Charlotte. God has granted us so much and we have more blessings than we could ever need! We truly are humbled with gratitude.

Here we are on Thanksgiving. Note the CUTE dress on Charlotte. I am also thankful for my mom's patience while helping me learn to sew! Hope your Turkey Day was glorious!

Pretty in Purple

Some cute shots from the lovely memorial service for Pop Bruce earlier this month. She was able to brighten many grieving hearts that night.

On a lighter note...how is it possible that she can do the splits already? I included the last one of her grumpy face because the purple really brings out the blue of her eyes.

Autumn Angel

Anyone who knows me well knows I adore the fall. The crisp air, vibrant colors, warmth of the holidays approaching, it all makes me so happy! Here are my favorite photos taken this past weekend at my parent's home. Their 5 acres of trees really create a gorgeous fall canvas. Charlotte was just along for the ride!

At the end of our time, it got pretty chilly so Mimi wrapped Charlotte up in a blanket. Also, how cute are those boots from Aunt Melissa??
