Pumpkin Pickin'

With all the recent rain our weekends have been limited to indoor activities, so we were thrilled last Sunday when we got to head to the pumpkin patch (along with everyone else in the area!). We enjoyed a nice, super sunny hayride and Charlotte picked out just the right pumpkin, which we plan to carve Friday night.

Falling Behind

Well, this blog has been a little too quiet, no? I have high hopes to remedy that...in the meantime, here is a fun family picture my dad grabbed of us on our anniversary before we went out to dinner, just the two of us.

6 Years

Six years ago today we started a journey. Two well-traveled paths crossed. Two grateful hearts connected. I love you Christopher, (to the moon and back)! Thank you for adding great love to my life, including one particular golden-haired little beauty. Indeed I am the lucky one. Here's to sixty more years!

Delicious Fall

Autumn seems to have finally arrived! What more fitting welcome than a yummy pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting. And some fun white chocolate leaves and acorns, of course!
