Thankful Heart
Just really feeling a heart of gratitude lately for the rich blessings in my life. My husband and two children truly delight and overwhelm my heart. Thank you Lord for your constant provision over our home. Truly thankful! Happy early Thanksgiving to all!

Dedication
On November 6th we had Grant dedicated to the Lord by my brother-in-law and pastor, Pete. He dedicated Charlotte for us as well so this was extremely special for our family.
The name Grant Oliver name means "Great Fruitfulness". Pete shared a wonderful word about what that can mean for Grant as he grows in his faith as Chris and I raise him to know God.

Trick or SWEET!
Charlotte really wanted to be (the vintage version of) Strawberry Shortcake this year with Grant as her little strawberry. I figured this would be the last year I could get away with a baby/cutesy/mom dressed me like a strawberry type of costume since next Halloween he will be 2.5...
So, Charlotte got her wish, and I got to dress two very adorable trick-or-treaters. My mom found the vintage dress second-hand and we added an apron and accessories. Was happy to score the strawberry costume at The Children's Place. What fun these two had together.

Cheese!
Listen carefully after I ask him "What are you eating?" and Grant proclaims, "I eatin' cheese!" after which I laugh hysterically and it sounds awful/scary on the Blackberry on which this was filmed. We love this child, even more than he loves his cheese!

Precious Pumpkins
We enjoyed a windy visit to the pumpkin patch this year. Charlotte absolutely loved the livestock, namely the cows and goats. Grant seemed tickled by the pigs and of course, the tractor ride to the patch. Our kiddos picked out two pumpkins which will be carved this coming weekend. I love this time of year! Such anticipation for the holidays to come.

Eight years ago I was blessed to wed the strongest, most loyal and dashingly handsome man I had ever met! Plus he helped make our two beautiful babies all while loving me so unconditionally. I know just how rare a man like mine really is. So thankful, at year eight and always!
