Dance Recital, Take Two

My sweet Charlotte has been taking dance lessons for two years now. All ballet last year and this year her instructor did a combo ballet/tap. She adores it and has made the most precious friends from class. As you recall, recital last year was beautiful but interesting. Charlotte accidentally kicked over a little tea cup prop on stage and then decided to stand quietly as the other girls finished the routine. I think she was overwhelmed but she held her own. This year however, she was an absolute superstar! She has grown so much since the last recital and all the hard work totally paid off. We were SO proud of our little tapping princess. I included a video (scroll down) of the live performance...what a sweet tribute to the dads of these special little girls!

Mother's Day with TWO!

I loved enjoying Mother's Day this year even more because of my TWO beautiful babies. Chris made sure they spoiled me rotten. Thank you Lord for the gift of these two precious lives.

Ten Months

We experienced an explosion of newness in Grant's world at 10 months. He started crawling, talking SO much with his favorite words, pulling up regularly, cruising, walking with hands held and he is doing exceptionally well with cognitive recognition and memory. He seems so smart already just like his big sister was at this age. He is delightful, a sweet presence to everyone he comes in contact with and he has all of us wrapped around his little bear paw fingers. He has also had his second haircut and graduated from baths in the sink bath to shared tub time with Charlotte. Amazing how quickly these little ones grow. 11 month update coming your way very soon! I can't believe Grant will be ONE in under two weeks!
