Lunch with GG

We had a fun ladies afternoon yesterday with GG, Chris's grandmother. Charlotte was in a lovable mood and offered kisses and cuddles galore! Thanks for the lunch and laughter, GG!

Published...again!

We got married in October 2003 and were lucky to be featured in The Knot magazine. That was a very cool honor.

Well, Kim recently was asked to submit some images to Brides Maryland magazine. Which one did they select to publish? Yep, me and Chris!

I have to laugh that somehow we are still en vogue nearly 4.5 years later. I love the publicity for Kim (who has had her work published several times now).

Beach Getaway

We had the wonderful opportunity to slip away for the long weekend to Mom Mom & Pop Pop's beach condo. Though it was the coldest weekend we have had this season, it was warm and snuggly just being together. We needed the time away and we came back refreshed and relaxed. Big thanks to MM & PP for your generosity!

Snowy Surprise

Chris was off early today, so this afternoon I snuck a nap with Charlotte. When we woke, Chris led us to the door for a surprise. He had been shoveling the drive while we slept (since we finally got some snow). When he opened the door we saw what else he had been working on:



Such a fun surprise! Charlotte loved it. She kept wanting to come back to the door to point and visit her new friends. I especially love the attention to detail on Snow Charlotte's fluffy hair:



This will definitely be one of those magical moments etched in my mommy memory. I think I get the award for having the best husband today!

Charlotte enjoyed feeding treats to "Gro-gan" (as she calls him), I think he liked it, too.

Perfect 10

Months, that is! A very happy Charlotte turned ten months today and she is feeling 100% better. Admittedly it was kinda nice when she was sick because she was such a cuddle bug. As much as my heart broke for her it was nice to feel so needed.

Here she is today, back to being bright and cheery!

Double Ear Infection

Charlotte has been pretty sick over the last week with a bad cough and a nasty cold. Well, Saturday night she was at her worst, she couldn't sleep well at all and was just so sad! Today we took her in for an appointment with her pediatrician and we found out she has a double ear infection! Poor baby! She must have developed it this weekend. Now she is on medicine and doing much better thus far.

I hope to be back to updating this blog with fun pictures once she feels better. Thanks to all for your prayers!
