This Christmas was full of sweet traditions, lots of family time and precious memories made. It was fun celebrating our last Christmas as a family of three. Charlotte enjoyed giving (and receiving) lovely gifts and we enjoyed watching the magic of the season once again through a child's eyes. She makes everything that much sweeter. Below is an album of the many pics I took starting Christmas Eve through both the Harrington and Merson family celebrations...enjoy!
We wish you a merry day filled with the warmth and love of family. May you also reflect upon the reason for this special day, the birth of the Savior!
These pictures are the ones I took for our Christmas card this year, as soon as I get the original design file from Kim's studio I will post an image of the card. It was precious!
So, I am officially out of the first trimester, which was actually quite different this time around than with Charlotte. I was sick a lot. Felt pretty miserable, but thankfully Charlotte was a trooper and a complete angel for me. I still have days with bouts of nausea but for the most part, those tough days are behind me. Here are two pictures of my fast growing bump.

And in case you were pondering the size of my belly this early into pregnancy, let this next photo answer any questions you may have...
It's no secret the Merson family loves snow. So when we got a little bit in early December we were giddy for more. Well, we got our wish! This weekend's blizzard brought about 18 inches of glorious puffy white snow, much to the delight of my husband and daughter.
Here are some pictures from the two snowfalls. First one on December 5th...
And more snowy fun in the Blizzard of 2009!
It snowed all night! So Sunday morning we woke up to head out and play again!
Chris did an awesome job shoveling, in a t-shirt no less!
We have been coming to the same great tree farm for years! Ever since Chris and I were first married.
It has become a fun family tradition, one we have now celebrated with Charlotte for three years. Here we are through the years - we can't wait to add another sweet face to the family next year!
We are thrilled to announce we're expecting our second child on June 11, 2010! Charlotte is over the moon about being a big sister. She can't get enough of my growing baby bump (14 weeks today). She got to attend the first sonogram at 9 weeks and this week heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time with us. We can't wait to meet this new miracle!!!
Happy wife to my hunky hubby and stay at home mama to my little firecracker who keeps me on my toes PLUS my sweet and dreamy baby boy - life is magical!
