Fun Stuff

Over the weekend we set up our deck furniture. We look forward to enjoying family dinners alfresco. We love it out there!

And this happened at dinner today. Whole wheat pasta and tomato sauce is a favorite in our home. Still not sure how the freeze dried banana ended up on her nose.

I let her dine in the buff since it was bath night anyway. I suppose she wanted to get started on the waterworks early...

Carroll COWnty

Growing up in a metro suburb I really didn't get to experience the country much until I moved to Carroll County. It took some getting used to, but now I love the fact that my daughter is getting exposed to fresh air, open spaces and tons of livestock.

While out for a Sunday drive we decided we had to stop to visit some cows on a farm about 5 miles from our neighborhood. Charlotte loves to "moo" so she had a blast seeing such cute cows up close for the first time who actually "moo" back! She also loves to pick dandelions for me (per Daddy's leading). Here are some pics from our (udderly) exciting roadside adventure!

Town Park

The week of the funeral we enjoyed some family time at our town park. A short stroll from home it is a favorite spot Charlotte and I visit and it was fun to take Daddy in the middle of the week.

Kellie & Bellies

Saturday we attended the sweetest baby shower for friends Kellie & Andy. I met Kellie through Melissa and interestingly enough, I actually graduated high school with Andy. Such a small world. The shower was at a gorgeous home on the Magothy River.

Kellie is due in mid June and Melissa in mid July.

Such a fun celebration. We can't wait to meet Owen!!!

Static

Kim & I spun Charlotte around and around in the swing, she was so dizzy and her hair was electric! While the picture looks sad, she really did love it.

Getting a (less cruel) push on the swing from Grampa...
