Halloween

What would Halloween be without a festive Dunkin' Donut (and precious pose)?

Carving pumpkins was fun, but Charlotte didn't enjoy the idea of cutting into one with a knife, she cried that we were hurting him...soon she let it go and enjoyed playing with pumpkin guts.

Charlotte has a fascination with peacocks, so it was no surprise that costume idea was a winner. My mom found the most adorable tutu dress, so we just added some glitter felt peacock "eyes" and gemstones and the look was perfect. It was funny to note that Pottery Barn Kids had a peacock costume this year. Using theirs as a guide, I actually liked our version better, and I didn't have to spend $70!

Playing around with a funky color technique...

Pottery Barn's version...

Hope your Halloween was full of treats!
