Beachy

We enjoyed Memorial weekend at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's place at the ocean. What a wonderful time away and what perfect weather in light of such cool temps! Our section of the beach had a "river" running through it which created a sand bar effect - it was rather odd but made for a good hang out for the kids.

We can't wait to go back! Hopefully one of these weekends we can make it work, Charlotte is such a beach bum, she loved the sand and sun in her hair!

Visit with GG

Last Friday, Charlotte and I had lunch with GG in Mt. Airy. We had a lovely time, especially with GG's new pup, Teddy!

Chris has worked with Adrienne at Key for 9 years now! She is a lovely soul and an adorable pregnant mama, due just one day after my birthday in August. Her co-workers from school threw a precious baby shower for her Friday afternoon and were kind to include me. We can't wait to meet your sweet surprise this summer!

Wow!

Earlier last week I went off to run some errands by myself one evening. When I came back Chris had taken these amazing pictures of Charlotte mesmerized by the Met-Life blimp (probably in town for Preakness). He said she kept pointing and saying, quite dramatically "WOW!"

Latest Adventures

Over the past few weeks Charlotte and I have enjoyed several fun days with friends.

Here we attended an interactive music show at The Pour House. Notice Ryder (in brown) getting into the music in the second picture.

Friends, Old & New

I got to spend the day with some old friends and their kiddos on Monday. All of us have become moms in the last few years and it has been fun to get together since we don't all live super close. We are now old friends but our little ones are new friends! So neat!



Here is the same crew last year including Caden & Ryder (Kim and her boys couldn't make it to this recent playdate) and Addie who was napping when the above pic was taken. Look how much they have changed since then!




And Saturday, my high school pal, Jo, came for a visit and was able to meet Charlotte for the first time - what a special time together. I love that we have made these friendships such a priority through the years!

Spoiled

I enjoyed a spectacular Mother's Day! The greatest gift of course is my sweet girl, but Daddy made sure Charlotte spoiled me, too.





Daddy started a Pandora charm bracelet for me - totally surprised me with this one!!

And here we are on my first Mother's Day last year. She was just about 3 months then!
